WebI think you and another person just play 2 runs and just link the souls of your pokemon. So if you encounter a Pokemon on a route, whatever they encountered is now linked to what you encountered. If they fail to catch it, you can't use yours even if you caught it and vice versa, and if one of them dies, the other does as well.
