WebApr 18, 2024 · Of all twenty years of GUNSMOKE, Season 12 is my favorite. While it didn't include my most cherished episode (that would be "Seven Hours to Dawn," the 11th season) it has at least six of the greatest episodes. GUNSMOKE made the transition to color very well but it was the writing/acting and guest stars that made this season stand out.
