Will they still stop M2AP after being left in a vacuum sealed chamber where they subject it to below-freezing temps, abruptly change over to desert hot temps, all sorts of humidity and moisture conditions, and other stuff that they put plates through for actual NIJ certifications? Maybe.

White, Chesapeake (although they don’t appear to be certified). I think it’s worth reaching out for testing purposes. It appears that the brand Battle Steel may be owned by Botach.

Our reasoning was our realistic worse case scenario was M855A1 out of a long barrel (18", longest we had) at point blank range.
